Servotech Renewable wins 1415 kW solar rooftop project from South Central Railway

Servotech Renewable Power System has secured a 1415 kW solar rooftop project order from the Vijayawada Division of South Central Railway, further strengthening its presence in India’s public infrastructure renewable energy sector.

The project involves the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar systems across multiple railway sites under the Vijayawada Division. The contract was awarded through a competitive bidding process, highlighting the company’s growing expertise in executing large-scale institutional and government-backed renewable energy projects.

The initiative forms part of Indian Railways’ broader strategy to accelerate clean energy adoption and reduce carbon emissions through sustainable infrastructure development. By integrating solar energy systems across railway facilities, the project is expected to contribute to improved energy efficiency and long-term operational sustainability.

Commenting on the development, Sarika Bhatia said the company is pleased to deepen its association with Indian Railways through the Vijayawada Division project. She noted that such initiatives reflect the increasing momentum toward clean energy integration across critical public infrastructure in India and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering efficient and reliable solar solutions.

The order further strengthens Servotech Renewable’s institutional project portfolio and underscores its continued participation in government-led renewable energy initiatives across the country.
